Early flutters....

So I am 12 weeks this week and I SWEAR I am feeling flutters already. I dont think I felt them with DC1 until I was closer to 16 weeks. I usually only feel them when I'm sitting...definitely none during the day. I wasn't sure if it was possible to feel them so early.

I have my NT scan tomorrow...first sono since we lost one of the twins. I'm nervous, but these flutters are giving me hope that this baby is strong and healthy!

Early flutters....

This is my first pregnancy but I started feeling weird movement at 10 weeks- at my nt scan at 12w5d I finally figured out that it was in fact baby since the movement matched the movement on the screen! It's not impossible:)

I am nervous that I don't feel anything and I am 13 weeks. Chat Icon I am hoping its because I started with extra "padding" in my belly. Next sono isn't until oct 8thChat Icon

Don't be nervous. It's not very common to feel it so early. Most people don't feel til at least 18wks or even 20+ weeks.

ETA: I've also heard that if you have an anterior placenta, it can take even longer.

Re: Early flutters....

I didn't feel DS until 17 weeks, I started feeling flutters with this one around 10 weeks. I couldn't believe it but it feels exactly the same. I have my NT scan next week at 13 weeks so I'm hoping to confirm that what I have been feeling really is the baby.

Early flutters....

With this PG I noticed the bubble popping feeling around 14 weeks and thought I was crazy. Didn't feel it that early on with DS#1

It's definitely possible...I always hear it happens earlier with each pregnancy.

Thanks girls. I asked tonight at my 12 week scan. The tech said that most drs will say you can't, but she said she's read a lot of studies that tell differently. She said especially since it's my 2nd baby it is more likely I would feel the baby earlier

Re: Early flutters....

I've always heard you feel movement faster with the second. I didn't feel movement with my first until like 18-19 weeks!
