Early Labor or Body Playing Games????

For the pros who have been through it already.... I am due on Friday! Last night I lost my mucus plug (with blood in it) at around 11:00 and I have been losing it every time I go to the bathroom since then. I started having contractions at 2 am. They averaged about every 10 minutes but some were every 8 minutes and others were even as much as 16 minutes apart. They continued into the morning. TMI but I had a #2 that felt like it was a body detox lol. It is now 11:30 and the timing of the contractions are still not consistent and not getting closer than 8 minutes apart. Is this the start of something or just my body playing games?

If they're consistently 8 min apart, I'd call the dr and head to the hospital :)

I lost my mucus plug about 4 days before labor. Starting having contractions about 10-15 minutes apart, everyone thought false labor including the doctors. Contractions continued for two days gradually decreasing. 3 days after the contractions started I had my baby boy one week early.

I think it def could be!
