Early pregnancy cramps
Just curious, how long do early pregnancy cramps last? I've been cramping for several days now (8 days to be exact) and am just curious if this is AF or something else.

Re: Early pregnancy cramps
I've had them for 8 days so far but they are starting to go away.
ETA: In the begining they felt just like AF and I was really surprised when she didn't show.

Re: Early pregnancy cramps
for me personally, cramps were 100% normal from a day or 2 before O until AF showed...non stop fun!

Re: Early pregnancy cramps
It could go either way. Especially if you usually cramp prior to AF.
I started cramping at about 7DPO and they only recently stopped.

Re: Early pregnancy cramps
The cramping thing is a cruel trick of nature..
2 of the months we were TTC I had cramps from about 3dpo until AF showed up..a LONG time for me and I thought I was pg both times (with my son I cramped a lot right away!).
The month I got my BFP I had cramps from about 6dpo until the positive test. You just never know!!!
But the good thing is to never count yourself out if you feel AF is coming...I definitely felt that way both times I got my BFP!

Re: Early pregnancy cramps
i was only TTC for 3 months (4 cycles) - we started TTC right after i came off BCP. the first three cycles i did not have AF cramps until the day before AF arrived. the 4th cycle, i had AF cramps from 6DPO on. i honeslty thought i was getting AF early. they felt exactly the same as AF cramps but i didn't have lower back pain like i usually did before getting AF.
cramping is totally normal throughout the 2WW, and it could mean AF or that your are PG. if you have been of BCP for a while (if you were ever on it) it helps because then you will know if a cycle is truly different than what is "normal" for you.
