Early Pregnancy Hot & Cold
I'm 5 weeks- going into my sixth week now, and I'm feeling alternate sort of hot and cold flashes... Sometimes I'm freezing (and everyone else in the room feels fine) and other times I feel hot flashes.
Anyone else experience this?

yes. last week i was having crazy hot flashes, and then i would be in a cold sweat.
now that has gone away but every night at bedtime i get REALLY cold, to the point of shivering.
i didn't have temperature stuff last pregnancy until the few weeks post-partum when i was having crazy night sweats and hot flashes. strange

i don't have the 'flashes' - but i'm CONSTANTLY HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am wearing shorts and in NJ right now it's REALLY COLD....but i'm in shorts & a sweatshirt!
the doc said it's totally normal - that our hormones are going crazy...to not worry too much about it!

I have been sleeping without any blankets at night. I am sooo hot, and my DH is covered all the way to his ears!

This definitely happened to me twice during my first trimester. It felt like I had the flu. I would be shivering cold one minute and sweating hot the next. It happened both times in the middle of the night.
The second time it happened I called my doctor and he told me to let him know if it happened again- which it didn't. However, any one that I spoke to about it seemed to think it was probably due to hormones.

Glad I'm not the only one!
It almost feels like a fever at times, but when I take my temp, the highest it ever was was 99.1!

I haven't really had the alternating temps, but I have been freezing constantly, while everyone else in the room is perfectly comfortable.. I've never felt this "off" in my temperatures before

yes, very early on in my pregnancy I was always cold....I was wearing sweaters in the summer b/c I was freezing!! I would always lower the a/c and make DH turn it off in the car....he just loved me then

yup I was like that around the sametime you are. Hot/Cold my hand like ice. It has gotten alittle better. I do notice when I'm really cold my body is telling me I need red Meat! Which I'm not a big fan of but it does help!

i feel the same way one min im soo hot and the next im freezing... the other night when i got in the car dh put the heat on cuz i was cold yet i was warm at the same time its soo weird
