Early pregnancy pains...what's normal?
After 3 years & several infertility treatments I am finally pregnant. I want to be so happy & positive but I'm a nervous wreck. I will be 6 weeks Thursday. Since I found out I was pregnant I have had some on & off cramping, pains, pulling, pressure, back aches. To what extent is this normal? The pain is not severe but definitely bothersome. I had good more then doubling hcg numbers & I had an early ultrasound @ 5weeks & 4 days that showed a gestational sac & fetal pole, but no heartbeat yet. I go for another ultrasound on Monday but that seems so far away. Has anyone ever experienced this so early on? I would really appreciate your input.

Well congrats on being pregnant!
I will say that i've been experiencing the same thing. The same cramping, pulling, stretching feeling, etc. I think that i personally feel things more than others, but it's normal. It isn't normal if the pain is severe where its very painful and you can't move, get up, etc.

Congrats on the pregnancy! What your feeling sounds pretty normal as i felt the same symptoms myself. I'm only 5 weeks and 2 days into my pregnancy . As long as the pain is bearable we will be ok.. Good Luck!

Re: Early pregnancy pains...what's normal?
Congratulations! Like the other girls said what you described sounds normal and similiar to pains a lot of us had in the first trimester. Try to relax and take care of yourself.

Congrats!!!
Sharp twinges and pains in early pregnancy is perfectly normal. I'm a little over 9 weeks and still get little twinges. I can completely understand why your nervous but I'm sure everything is fine
