Early Pregnancy..progesterone levels
Hello ladies..this is my first post on this board. I had BFP yesterday but unfortunatly i have miscarried before so I am very optimistcally causious.I went for bloodwork today and i will know tommorow what my progeseterone levels are. i was curious if you guys had any idea what they should be. I thought it might be helpful to have more info when i call tommorow. I love my dr but the place itself is a little bit of a factory and I don't always feel like i get my questions answered. Thanks for your help!! I hope to be on this board for a while =)

Everyone's #'s are different i think they said anything over 18 is cosidered PG. What's important is that your numbers increase. They should double every 24-48 hours in the very beginning. I would just take it easy, no heavy lifting or anythign until you hear back from your Dr. Congrats & good Luck!!!

Re: Early Pregnancy..progesterone levels
I had a problem with my progesterone levels and needed to be on suppositories - I believe that anything over 12 was ok. But I can't remember exactly - sorry

When you go for your blood test let your Dr know your concerns and ask when you should get a follow up blood test to compare numbers.

There is a broad range of what is normal. I found a lot of information online but I didn't bookmark it. .

I know at like 4-5 weeks mine was 27. The Dr gave me progesterone (pills) just to be safe and b/c I had a little spotting.

Re: Early Pregnancy..progesterone levels
after i got my +hpt, i started cramping and had lite spotting so my doctor also checked my progesterine and it was 9 which is soo low when your preggos, so she put me on the supplements, she said she would have liked the number to be the lowest 20, after a couple days on the prog medicine, my number was over 100, so it helped a lot, my dr. didnt even know if i was going to keep my pregnancy b/c the levels were so low at first, but here i am 24 1/2 weeks later
