Early sono at 5 weeks

I had my first sono yesterday at 5 weeks. My beta is up to 1109- keeps doubling and more with each visit. I had my first sono and saw the gestational sac. It seemed so tiny. It measure 4 cm. With DD it measure 8mm at this point. I tried doing the math conversion and I think they are measuring the same. My dr said it is where it should be. At this point it should be between 4cm and 7cm. I don't know what I was expecting, but I thought it would be bigger or I would see more. I know you won't see the hb until 6 weeks. Dr said with an IUI you don't know for sure when ovulation and implantation occured. Being that my home tests were light and my beta started out at 34 last week, I am thinking I have a late implanter. Dr. assured me everything was fine, but I am so cautious. Is this what you ladies saw at 5 weeks?

at 5w3d i had a sono and only was a gestational sac. no yolk sac, no fetal pole, nothing. needless to say, i was a nervous wreck. a week later we saw everything and now i'm 18w4d!!

lesson learned.. i will never have a sono before 6 wks.

With my first pregnancy I had sono at 5 wks and saw only the thickened uterus, my DD is a healthy 2 yr old now! So DON"T WORRY :)

I am 5w6d today and go Thur, 6w1d for this pregnancy for sono!

Yes, we saw a small sac and fetal pole. Next week when we went, we saw a small HB. Trust your dr. That seems VERY normal for a sono done that early. Remember, some people dont even see the HB at 6 weeks, so try not to worry if that happens. I know easier said than done.
