East Cost or LI IVF? Or somewhere else?

My OB did not lean in one way or another about which facility to go to. How did you chose which center you would go to?

I went by the recommendation of a friend & proximity to my home. Appointments can get to be very frequent... and it's an emotional thing. You want someone who matches your personality.

My OB gave me 3 cards for 3 different places. East Coast, RSNY and Dr. Braverman. I asked on this board for everyon'e experience with each place and i also googled each place to see some feed back because i was so confused. I wound up going to Dr. Braverman and i am glad i did. So far he's been great and so patient. Look inot each place and don;t just choose a place because it is close to you. Choose the place you feel most comfortable with. Good luck!

I picked LI IVF for 2 reasons:

----closest to my house
----early morning monitoring hours (they open at 6:30am but usually they get there by 6:15am so I was still able to catch my regular train and get to work on time).

The monitoring hours were the biggest factor for me. I knew I would need to go there several times a month and couldn't get to work late that often.

You can always have a consulation at both places and see which one you like better.

I go to LI IVF in Lake Success. Kenigsberg is my re, but i have to say that i just love the office staff there and the nurses. They are the friendliest, most caring people i have come across. You are never just a #, they always get to know you personally and remember you.

I went to East Coast in Plainview. They are close to my house and the monitoring hours are great. I think they start at 6:30. I was able to go for monitoring and make it to work pretty much ontime and I work in NYC.

I ask my BIL (hes a dr) and he spoke will some OB collegues and they all recommended San Roman or Stelling of RSNY so i went there

I chose an office that was close to home, had hours that fit my schedule (since there is a LOT of monitoring) and then I liked my Dr. after our first interview.

i agree with the LI IVF posts. i just started going & so far so good. they do have early hours which is convenient since i have to commute to the city. the office seems to be well run.

LOVE LIIVF and have a gorgeous daughter because of them.

Never had a bad experience or nasty nurse ..nothing...always felt like they really cared.

Started at East Coast, wouldn't recommend them and am with Dr. Braverman. I have also heard great things about Dr. Brenner at LI IVF and Dr. Stelling and San Remo at RS of NY.
