East End Long Island Vets / Spade for Pug?
Hey Everyone,
I tried looking up on here but my search efforts are leading to much newer information.
I am located in Mount Sinai and need a vet for my Pug. She is 3 we think (took her from someone else, who should have never had a dog to begin with  )
We are not sure if she has ever had puppies, she has long nipples (at least I think so) and we believe she maybe a Puggle- We took her before she was sent off to a shelter, but have no idea if she has ever even been to a vet.
We are looking for a Vet for her, and also to have her Spade. She is currently in heat. Do you have any recommendations for Vets? They do not have to be exactly local, but someone you trust.
Also does anyone know the current rates of service prices, visits for the Vet?

I highly recommend Jefferson Animal Hospital in Port Jeff. They are wonderful there.

I had a great experience with Manorville Pet Vet.
They were so nice there, took excellent care of my cats when I had to have them fixed (and put my mind at ease because I was crying dropping them off! ) and I never got the impression they were just out for money like I do with some vets.
They are right off the LIE too- not hard to get to at all.

Do they Spade also?
As far as I know they do.
I would suggest maybe going to a few and talking to them before making your decision.
I went there because my dog was adopted from the Guide Dog Foundation and they use countryside.
Luckily, I love them so I never had to change

We used to go to Miller Place Animal Hospital and were happy with them. They are right on 25A. We only left because we moved and it was too far

Roosevelt Animal Hospital - Dr. Zangara #476-0400 - Roosevelt ave in PJS..
We have been to many vets before finding him and I will NEVER leave him!! I see the way he is with the animals and it makes me wonder what all those other vets were doing being vets! He loves all of his 'clients'. He lets my beagle lick his face for the first 5 minutes we are there and gets down on the floor to play with my lab! He also always pets and plays them while he's just talking to us, which sounds small but it stuck out in my mind bc no other vet ever did that.. Good Luck!!
