East Meadow - What LIRR stop?
What station do you go to? Hicksville? Do you have to be a resident to park at Hicksville? Pay for it?

depends where in east meadow. my parents live in barnum woods and i used to go to westbury or merrick station.

Bellmore, Merrick, Wantagh..I think you will need a parking pass for Hicksville since it's in the Town of Oyster Bay.
by the way, in all of these train stations, if you don't get there by 7:30 the absolute latest, you will not get a spot.

I agree with the earlier post. I live in Levittown and we go to Seaford because there is more parking, before 8 am you might still find some resident parking. And non resident parking stil has some left. Hicksville unless you park at a private lot and pay $8-10 a day town of hempstead people can't park there.

oops.... completely forgot about that. I had moved from the Town of Oyster Bay to East Meadow so I had the sticker on my car for the year that I was in East Meadow.

I grew up in EM and when I worked in the city I used Bellmore but you do need to get there by 7:30 to get a parking spot.

I take the Carle Place train and park near the Carle Place Park. It is free parking on the street. It works if you are taking an early train. The schedule is not that great though

If you are near Hempstead Tpke you can try Bethpage station too. Hicks ville you have to be a resident to get parking or its about $7 a day to park there but that station has the best train schedule.

Bethpage you need a permit. You have to be a town of oyster bay resident.
