easter idea

I paint pink bunny tracks on my floors that go from the front door, through the bathroom and up and out the window.

DS always gets excited to see that the easter bunny didn't 'wipe his feet'

Don't think I could get away with it THIS year, but I'm going to try!!

Re: easter idea

For a variation on the washable paint, what if you made a "rabbit foot" stencil, then sprinkled powder (carpet freshener, baby powder, etc) over the stencils. It would look like something an Easter Bunny might leave, and it's also easy to vacuum up.

THATS ADDORABLE!! How do you make the tracks, just free hand or did you buy a stencil?

I free hand it... Just made one large circle with 3 smaller, longer circles... He got so excited the first year I did it, I had to continue... I change his little 'route' each year too... sometimes he goes into the kitchen for a snack and leave a few half eaten carrots outside the fridge etc.

that's kina how I got the idea... a daycare aidan was in, sprinkled gold glitter in the corner of a room (with footprints leading up to it) for St. Pat's day...

When I came to pick DS up that afternoon, ALL THE KIDS were running to me to show me that they had a leprechaun come visit... It was so cute how excited they got, I tried it out with the bunny.
