Easter...what are you guys making??
Hi there. I'm having about 25+ people over and I don't have a clue as to what to make. Suggestions???

Salad

Is this good???

antipasta
maybe easter meat pie
homemade manicotti and meat sauce
lemon meringue pie

are you doing sit down or buffet?
I will live vicariously through you for a minute and say I would do the following.
appetizers
cheese/antipasta platter
large garden salad
quiche lorraine
mains
baked ziti
sauteed asparagus
baked ham (great carved and eaten at room temp! perfect for buffet)
artichoke, leek and potato gratin
biscuits
If I could cook easter dinner this year, this is a pretty good outline of what I'd like to make.

The Easter crises has ended  And we're all celebrating alpne ten coming together at the Grandaprents ofr dessert. Whatever...  My husabnd'sfamily can be so strnge.
So since it;s jsut gonna be me and him, I'm going to fry up a piece of ham on the stove.
And makes scalloped potatoes  and probably green beans. i'll also make rolls. Nothing fancy.
I'm going to make teddy bear bread too and give one loaf to his grandparents. I'm unsure what dessert I'll be making!

This sounds delish!! I haven't stopped thinking about it since you posted We're doing buffet style so I'm definitely incorporating most of this menu.

You're so cute! What is Teddy Bear bread??
It's a loaf of bread shaped like teddy bears! They are so adorable! one of the first things I ever cooked by myself!
Do let us know what you decide to make... and good luck!!!

I am only having 8 ppl for Easter on April 12th b/c my Easter is on April 19th.
I am making Filet Mignon and Lamb Chops. Was supposed to be a honeybaked ham but I don't eat ham. LOL.
For appetizers:
Cheese and crackers
shrimp cocktail
antipasta
Dinner:
Filet Mignon
Lamb Chops
Roaster Garlic Potatoes
Either Sauteed Sring Beans or Spinach
Mixed Garden Salad
Dessert:
Mini pastries from bakery and whatever my guest bring!
Nice and simple!
