Re: Easy christmas cookie recipes
I'm trying these this year:
Red Velvet Cake Mix Cookies Ingredients 6 Tbsp butter, unsalted 1 box Red Velvet cake mix 2 large eggs 2 tsp lemon zest 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp salt ½ cup powdered sugar 1 tsp cornstarch Instructions Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Melt the butter in the microwave and put it in the fridge to cool. Mix the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, lemon zest, vanilla, and salt in a mixing bowl–handmix at first and then if you still have lumps of cake mix, you can use an electric beat on low to get the rest out. It will gather into a thick dough. Sift the cornstarch and powdered sugar together in a small bowl. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and roll your cookie dough into 1 inch balls. Roll the ball into the sugar mixture and place it on the pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Best eaten after completely cooled or refrigerated.
Also making Rolo Pretzels - they're not cookies but they're so good!
12 Square or Round Pretzels 12 Rolo Candies (unwrapped) 12 Pecan Halves
Preheat oven to 350. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place pretzels on sheet. Top each pretzel with a Rolo. Bake 4 minutes or until Rolo begins to soften. Remove from oven and top each with a pecan half. Allow to cool.

Re: Easy christmas cookie recipes
The peanut butter blossoms are really easy, you buy the Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie Mix and a bag of Hershey Kisses. Directions for the cookies are on the back of the mix

i did this recipe last year, but without the sea salt. you can use 1 tsp vanilla extract instead of sea salt too.

Re: Easy christmas cookie recipes
peanut butter blossoms
1 egg 1 cup PB 1/3 cup confectioners sugar, 1/3 cup brown sugar (I usually use light), 1/3 cup white sugar all sifted together (you could just do 1 cup of white sugar, but I like the way it comes up when you mix the 3 sugars) 18 hershey kisses
Mix together, roll into one inch balls and bake at 350 for ten minutes. Let them cool a bit before adding a kiss to the center of each one

Re: Easy christmas cookie recipes
tried a new recipe tonight.
Oatmeal Lace Cookies
1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 large egg 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups quick cooking or rolled oats (not instant) 1 tbsp all purpose flour 1/4 tsp salt Preheat oven to 325F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bowl, melt the butter and allow to cool slightly, for 2-3 minutes. In a large bowl, whisk together sugars, egg and vanilla extract. Pour in the cooled, melted butter and whisk to combine. Add in oats, flour and salt, and stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until well combined. Allow batter to stand for 5 minutes. Scoop 1 teaspoon sized balls of dough and place onto prepared baking sheet, leaving about 3 inches between cookies to allow room to spread. Bake for 14-16 minutes, or until crisp and golden. Allow cookies to cool for 4-5 minutes on the baking sheet to give them time to firm up, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
