Ebay HELP , WEIRD situation....
What to do. I wrote this word for word in my auction
"Only bidders with Positive feedback please...no "private" feedback bidders....If I cant see how you bid/pay etc in the past, Im too uncomfortable....feedback is how E-bay runs, I support it. "
B/C I keep getting people with "private" winning my auctions and trying to make addtional shipping requests.
Anyway...GUESS WHAT?
My auction today, the same person wins it?
DO I send them something and say sorry you shouldnt have bid on this? You cant read?
The person has PAID before, It just makes me meary fo the whole thing.

Thats not true. They havent paid yet and I specifically said in my auction who can bid....its done often....., I jusst dont know if I should or shouldnt send now.......
This person has made a big deal in the past about how paypal protects buyers not sellers etc? It was weird and I have a feeling its going to all come back and they are going to "pull something"

but if i won an auction and was denied product, i'd be pizzed and would make quite a big deal about it

I specifically said in my auction, DO not bid if your feedback is listed as private and she bid and won?

Did you read though what I wrote?
I specifically said in my auction, DO not bid if your feedback is listed as private and she bid and won?
you could have canceled the bid before she won- if she pays- send it- if she doesn't then report her
then block her from bidding in the future- go to help and search for blocking members
and BTW- paypal doesn't protect anyone- we just had an issue with something my DH bought- and we had to dispute it thru Amex- paypal even admitted there isn't much they can do

If she paid in the past, I would let it slide...if it were someone different with private feedback, then I wouldn't go through with the transaction. JMO.

I was trying to find an answer on the Answer Center at Ebay.
I think you have to complete the transaction but going forward if someone with private feedback bids, you can cancel the bid and block the buyer before the auction ends.
Does the buyer have a good feedback percentage?

Sorry, I thought you could still see if it was 100% postive or what have you. That's what I kept reading on the answer forums trying to see if you had recourse.

You are right, even though someone has a private feedback...there is still a percentage number with the number of positives, negatives, and neutrals they receive.

yea, I'm an ebayer seller myself and if somebody pays, then send it. I personally don't deny anyone from bidding, but those who have not paid in the past, I report them, then I block them.
Even if its private, you still get % rating. I don't know why you feel so leary.
