eBay question (is it worth the effort)?- UPDATE!

I sold a bunch of my textbooks on eBay. One of them sold for only $1.99. The winner has zero feedback and has not responded to 2 invoices.

Do I report them? Or just let it go and relist??

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
UPDATE: This is the response I got from the buyer.
i do not want to purchase the book this is the reason why i havent purchase the book. please stop sending me e-mails regarding this book
W T F?? I guess she doesn't understand how eBay works?? For $1.99 I don't want to be a total b!tch, but - hello! you won the item, you have to pay for it!!
Should I just relist??
I would give them a bad feedback and then relist
I would report it, with fees you are giving ebay half of that.
thanks ladies!!
I just felt weird about reporting $1.99! I'm sure eBay has bigger problems to track down, you know?
I think you should report it also -- that's how people learn and it may prevent that buyer from doing that again.
they are all automated so I am sure the computer generates responses without even "knowing" the details.
Re: eBay question (is it worth the effort)?
Im not sure what to do, but if you dont need to get rid of the textbooks asap... try half.com (they are a sister site of ebay) I have made SOO much money from selling my textbooks back on there...i always just list them as the lowest price, and usually they sell... sometimes it takes a while but i found it much easier to deal with then ebay for books at least!!
I just started doing the same thing and already made over $100 for books and I graduated college 3 years ago and they are still using my textbooks-I highly recommend-you'll get more money than you would listing on ebay
I would totally report it and relist -- that is total BS!!!
Relist it, but def report it, why should he/she get to play by their own rules?? ***?
I have been selling old books on amazon and I like it b/c it factors in the shipping for you, I am always bad at figuring that out.
I've reported stuff like that to get my money back but didn't bother with the feedback- wasn't worth me getting a negative in return.
How do buyers normally respond? I can totally see this person getting nasty.
Re: eBay question (is it worth the effort)?- UPDATE!
I responded to the dispute:
You won the item - you are legally obligated to buy it. If you did not want it, you should have not bid on it. This is how eBay works. You cannot just ignore invoices.
unfortunately, you're gonna get some people like this along the way... If there were other bidders, you can offer it to the next...
Thanks!! I am just annoyed. It took me 2+ years to get my stellar 25 pieces of positive feedback Chat Icon . I don't want this chick screwing it up. I won't leave her feedback, so I am hoping she does the same for me.
I think you need to report it. You win an auction, you buy the item, that's how it works
