Ebay seller with "private" feedback rating
Is this NEW?
I never saw this till recently....
Why would someone make their feedback private ( unless for a bad reason?)
Two people with private feedbacks won my auctions recently and after they won, had some suggestions about delivery options that were not as my auction was listed and so I sent as I had described. It was weird and now Im hesitant to allow private feedback people to bid b/c Im afraid they are going to have horrible feedback or leave ME bad feedback??

No, it's not new. I believe that people who do it have something to hide. I'm not a seller so I don't know if you can block the people with private feedback from bidding.

you can- I just blocked people with 2 negatitive feedbacks in the last 30 days
I just got burned on 2 high end handbags- with people not paying in the same week
I was ****** off- but they both ended up selling for more once I relisted

I NEVER bid on anything w/private feedback. that is really "shady" IMO.
as for a bidder with private rating, if that person is not the only bidder, what I would do is ask them why their feedback is private. and if their % is low, I would cancel it. as a seller, you have to protect yourself.
