ebf- baby hasnt pooped since Sun- should I be concerned?
Bryan hasnt pooped since then, he is eating fine and wetting diapers - he usually poops like every other day but for some reason he hasnt- he doesnt seem in any pain and is very content. I heard that ebf babies dont really get constipated is that true?

i freaked out when i first started bf danielle..because she hadn't pooped in like 4 days!! 
dr said its normal for breastfed babies...b/c mother's milk is all nutrients and anitbodies, and is almost completely absorbed into the babies system...
it will also look like mustard, seeds and all..

EBF babies poop A LOT less than formula fed. I would call your dr. if he doesnt go today though. You dont want him to be uncomfortable.

My doctor said if he's constipated, take a thermometer with some vasolene and put it in his rectum a little. You should jar something loose...

I think the longest my son went was 7 DAYS w/o a poop. I was so freaked out that he was constp but the dr said the BM gets all used up and there is no waste = no poops.

how old is he? whats his normal pattern. If this exceeds whats been usual he may be constipated and the thermometer trick really does work. Good luck.
