EBF moms of dc around 3mo or btdt moms...
Do u ever have days when u worry that your dc is not nursing enough? For the most part DD is a pretty consistent eater. Since I rarely give her bottles I have no idea how much she is getting but I usually go by how many times per day and how long she nurses for. Well, yesterday and today I feel like she is just not nursing enough. 10 min tops per feeding and sometimes even 5 min. She has been spitting up more too but, I think thats b/c when she is nursing the milk is coming in strong b/c she isn't eating as much. We have had days like this b/f and every single time it makes me so nervous. She is acting normally otherwise so I don't think shes sick but, just wondering if anyone ever experienced this. TIA!

DS would go through phases like this all the time. There are still days now (at 7.5 months) that I am worried he isn't getting enough. He was never a very long nurser to begin with, 10 or 15 minutes tops. I always noticed that on the days he wouldn't eat much he was more refluxy too. I would worry and worry but it would usually resolve itself. If he was extra fussy at the breast for several days than just when I was about to lose my mind he would have a normal nursing session! If they are gaining weight and the ped isn't concerned than I would try to relax about it. Much easier said than done

she can becoming more efficient at the breast! It doesn't take as long as it did in the beginning! you sort of ans your own question...your milk is coming out quickly...your forceful letdown might be filling your DC up....
