Re: Ebony is not feeling well....
Thanks -- I gave him some white rice and ice.
He seemed better in the afternoon, we even went to the park. But this am when I got up I saw he had thrown up - mostly grass. So we'll see how he is today. I am leaving on Friday for vacation so I hope he is better by then!

Re: Ebony is not feeling well....
hmmm, if he is eating grass then that can be a sign that he is having some issue. Dogs will eat grass when they are having digestive problems. I don't remember exactly why though.

Nah, he is a cow -- he eats grass allllllllll the time. Dr. says it is fine, like us eating salad.

Re: Ebony is not feeling well....
My vet has suggested and it has ALWAYS worked.. white rice and cottage cheese mixed together for FULL week with NOTHING else. Even if they start feeling better. It works and they LOVE IT! My Weimeraner was just sick with a stomach virus and he went on this and he was back to normal in about a day or two. NO TREATS!! Lots of water!

Re: Ebony is not feeling well....
You can give him that pink stuff (Pepobismol-sp?) - give him the child's dosage. It should help to settle his stomach.
