Echogenic Focus??

My Dr. called me last night and said that my Level 2 showed an Echogenic Focus of the left ventricle. Anyone ever have anything like this? From what he said, and I read on-line it is a marker for Downs Syndrome. But everything else so far (AFP etc.) has come back normal. Basically, he said on its own this means nothing but if I had other indications of Downs it would be looked at further. At this point, the only thing they want to do for it is a repeat sono in 4 weeks.
Just wondering if anyone else's baby had this.

Thats what my Dr. said usually happens......by the time they redo the sono it is gone. I hope that is the case for me too!! It seems from the research I have done that it is only an issue if some of your other tests have come back abnormal.
Thanks!! Chat Icon

I'm sure it'll be fine! Chat Icon I know it's scary hearing that they "found" something on a sonogram... I freaked!Chat Icon Luckily it was nothing
