Ectopic Pregnancy/ Miscarriage
These last couples of days have been very stressful and depressing. On Mon 2/19 my husband and I found out that we were pregnant. On Tuesday 2/20 I started bleeding at work and called my doctor and advise me to go to the ER for an emergency sonogram. When I went for the sonogram they discovered that there was nothing in my uterus which could mean a couple of things I could be too early in my pregnancy, I could be having a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. So a couple of days passed and I was still bleeding and the doctor said that this was normal for the first trimester and if I start bleeding more or cramping really bad to come back to the ER. By Friday I woke up at 5am and was in so much pain I couldn’t walk or stand my left side was hurting me so bad so I woke my husband up told him to take me to the ER . So when I got to the ER they did another sonogram and discovered that I had fluid in my pelvis and a cyst that might had abrupt. They also discovered that my BHGH levels went from 291 to 276 which is an indicator that something is going on that I indeed might be miscarrying or having ecotopic pregnancy. So Monday I will have to get more blood work drawn to see where my levels are. My questions to the ladies how long did it take for you to miscarried and how long did you wait to TTC?

Re: Ecoptopic Pregnancy/ Miscarriage
I am very sorry you're going through this. I, personally, have not had a miscarriage, but I know many that have. My SIL had a natural miscarriage (where the doctor's did not interfere, or have to go inside) and she was pregnant a few months later. She just gave birth to a healthy baby boy. I have heard that if the docotrs need to do a D&C that they usually say give it 3 months to TTC again.

Re: Ecoptopic Pregnancy/ Miscarriage
I am so sorry. Wish there was something I could say...
I have lost two pregnancies, but they were both closer to nine weeks so you may not be able to compare time frames. I never actually miscarried and had d&cs both times. I am sure yours is different cause it is earlier on. I was able to try again as soon as my period came and my beta was normal. About 7-12 weeks for me. BUt then I believe it is diffferent when no sac has been seen. YOu may get to try earlier. However if it is ectopic I think you have to wait longer.

Re: Ecoptopic Pregnancy/ Miscarriage
I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I had a natural m/c at 5 1/2 weeks. It was similar to my normal pd & I didn't have too much pain so your situation might be different.
As far as getting pg again, it only took us 6 weeks. But take your time if you need to. Listen to your dr, your body & heart on this one.

Re: Ectopic Pregnancy/ Miscarriage
I just had a m/c earlier this month. It started on a Saturday with brown spotting that turned pink and then red. In the ER they did a sono and there was still a sac but I was too early to see a heartbeat. On Sunday still bleeding like a period and some cramping and lower backache. On Monday there was just spotting. On Tuesday I passed my pregnancy naturally.
Why wont your Dr do a sono of your tubes?

Re: Ectopic Pregnancy/ Miscarriage
My dr is sending me to get more blood work drawn on Monday to see if my HGC levels are going up and I am going to see him on Tuesday to get another sonogram. So I guess I will know then.

I am so sorry you are going through this
I m/c a year ago at 6 weeks. It happened naturally (we were expecting it from the beginning since we knew it was a chemical pg). Unlike you, there was no pain though. Once my levels were back at zero we were able to TTC again. I will say a prayer and hope you keep us updated tomorrow

Re: Ectopic Pregnancy/ Miscarriage
I'm so soryy!!!!!
I had a miscarriage at 9-10 weeks. I had to have a d&c. My Dr. told us to wait until I had a natural period and then it would be okay to try again. I got my period 4 weeks after the d&c and got preggo again that cycle.

Re: Ectopic Pregnancy/ Miscarriage
I am so sorry that you are going through this. There is a big difference in your body from a m/c & an etptic pg. I think you should talk to your Dr about it & see what they advise.
ETA your Dr should definitely do a full pelvic sono & get an idea of what is going on in your fallopian tubes.
