Try not to let it get to you. Obviously, the other art director has your boss pegged and knows you well and seems to have your back!

Maybe it's something you should address with your boss when she returns. Tell her that would have gladly sent the file to the printer if you had been able to access it from her computer, and maybe ask for her login info in case the same situation happens the next time she is out of the office.
