I grew up in Centerport, right next to Northport, its a great area!
Dh and I are looking at homes in that area as well right now.

My Dad & his wife live in Northport, in "the pit" on the water. I didn't grow up there but he's been living there about 20 years. I know a little bit about the area. Its really pretty.
