***EDITED TO ADD A BIT MORE INFO*** What Does It Mean If You Have a Few Positive Pregnancy Tests, Followed By A Few Negatives and Then A Few Positives Again?

Ok, just a little more background:)

I suffered a miscariage at 6 weeks on August 17th. A couple of weeks later my Dh and I Then 7 days after that I had what looked like implantation spotting. I then started buying pregnancy tests and was getting all positives for a week:) I went to my RE(I have fertility issues) and they did a BETA last Saturday and said it was 4.68 and anything under 5 is NOT PG:) Then after Saturday's BETA I was getting the negatives I told you about because I continued to test:) Now, today I am back to getting a positive on an afternoon urine test with a FRER, but a negative just now with a Digital, What is going on?

Were the negatives a different brand than the positivese?

Are the digitals the ones that are coming out negative?

i'd say it's prob best just to go get the blood test @ the dr.

Digitals are less sensitive so that could be why today the FRER is coming up + but the CBE digital is coming up -. Normally I would say just go by the FRER and assume it's a BFP. But your situation is a little different, I would go have another blood test done so you can have a definitive answer and piece of mind.

I would tend to think that your body is still a bit out of whack after having the miscarriage and those are the hormones that the tests are picking up.
I'm really surprised your RE didn't tell you to wait at least a cycle or two before trying again though

if you really think that you might be pregnant, then the only way to tell for sure is to have beta test at the dr
the hpt's are obviously confusing you, so you should either stop testing, or go to the dr to know for sure.

if you really think that you might be pregnant, then the only way to tell for sure is to have beta test at the dr

I think your body is still a little out of whack..we didn't wait a cycle either, and my AF symptoms are out of control this month..I think it takes a while for our bodies to get back to normal somewhat..so I guess the dr's know what they're talking about sometimes

Are you positive you had a MC...my dr retested me until my numbers were under 2...I had an ectopic at one point and the numbers went up and down...
