I think I am 11dpo. I just took the cvs brand blue dye test. I looked at if 4mins after I peed on it and I see a very very faint line. Do these tests give many false positives? Is it supposed to be pretty dark so there is no guessing?
I had low progesterone with dd and needed to go on suppositoriea right away so my dr said as soon as I get a postive to come in for my blood work to see if I need progesterone suppositories but I dont know if I dfiinetly got a positive. What should I do? Image Attachment(s):

Its hard to see through the pic but I definitely see something there!!!! My understanding has always been that you could get false-negative but not false-positives because normally we don't have HCG hormones unless we are pregnant. I would personally take that as a very early positive and go to the doctor asap!!

JESS!!!! That is a line!!!! If it was only 4 minutes, it's def a BFP! If the line appeared after a longer period of time, it could be an evap line. OMG!
ETA: 11dpo is still early, so the line will most definitely be faint. I would pick up a FRER and test with FMU tomorrow. If you get a line on that one, call your doc and make an appt.

went to the doctor. the urine test came back negative but we did blood work and I will know on Saturday or Monday we shall see. I am hoping it came back negative because it wasn't FMU and I had just downed a bottle of water and it is still early

Tons of baby dust to you!!!! Definitely keep us posted!! I really feel that the urine test at the office came back negative because it is still early and like you said it wasn't your FMU...clearly you had a line on you POAS. Try not to drive yourself too crazy although I know it's way easier said than done. Good Luck and here's some more baby dust

Thanks girls for your opinions. I would feel much better if the test at the dr wasnt negative. I will take a frer (first response early result for Catherine who asked what it stood for) in the morning and hoping for a darker line. And then I wait for the blood resulta that I will get either tomorrow or Monday. I got preggo on the 1st month trying with dd and never in a million years did I think that would happen again. I feel very crampy (which makes me think AF is still coming but time will tell I guess.
And Maria, what are the chancea? I mean really lol

Those are both 100% positive!!!
I'm sure your bloodwork will come back positive, maybe below 50 but def positive. and I always bought those blue dye ones when I was trying and they always looked like that when I got my first positive.

LoL, thanks for the clarification. Still pretty new to the boards and some of these abbreviations still stump me. Anyway, congrats again on all your BFP's!!

I had just gotten a bfp with ds in 2004 and had fender bender. Went to the ER and told them I was preggo. They had me POAS and it was BFN. I knew I was preggo they eventually confirmed it with a blood test but I know they usually use cheap generic tests in the offices and hospitals.
