Can anyone recommend a tree guy (or gal) in Suffolk (Im in Setaket).

I have a few trees that need to be removed. Thanks!

eta: Above All Tree Service is at my house now chopping down 11 trees! They were the cheapest by FAR, and they were the only ones that showed up when we agreed upon. They even called last nite to confirm.

DH is home and he is amazed on what a great job they are doing, i'll definitely post pics when I get home

Meaghan - we use:
Above All Tree Service
631-928-4544 (Bryan) but Joel was the one who came to our house.

They are located out of E. Setauket - actaully neighbors of my ILs, so we def. recommend them!

We do the same thing. They've been to our house 3 times over the last 2 years.

I don't have one to recommend but I suggest you avoid Reliable Tree Service. My parents hired them and they cut down a tree in the middle of their front yard, and then once it was down they said that it was too dangerous to remove the stump from the ground because of buried power lines, never came back, never returned a call - leaving my parents with an ugly stump in the middle of the yard, which my dad and a neighbor ultimately removed themselves.

not sure where the trees are located on your property but just want to make sure that you are aware that the town will remove dead trees that are 10 ft (i think) from the street.

i had an incident a few weeks ago where a dead tree uprooted into the street. i called the town and when they came to remove they tagged 2 other dead trees that needed to be removed. 3 trees removed for free. bittersweet!

Already had Brookhaven remove 2! All the other are unfortunately really close to the house and in the backyard.

I used Giannini landsscaping in brightwaters. They are the cheapest anywhere. I checked everyone out.
Don't have their # but they are in the phone book.
