**Edited with another question in last post***Another Cold..... Please help
This seems like the winter from h***. DS has his FOURTH cold in 3 months... Mommy is about to pull her hair out. It has been SUCH a long day! Okay pity party over..... Now for my question....
Is anyone else dealing with the frequent cold program? We went from 2 colds, 2 ear infections, the stomach bug all the last two weeks and now ANOTHER cold. Did your DCs with colds have a harder time napping? My son normally lays down for a nap, cries for under 2 minutes, then out, for a couple hours at least... Not today.... I CANNOT get him down for a nap? Any ideas or suggestions? Just to know I'm not alone will make me feel better. Also, does this mean he also won't go to sleep tonight????? HELP.... I feel so overwhelmed today....

 I hope your dc feels better soon but just to let you know your not alone. My two littlest have been sick since the wk before Christmas. They are even on their second round of antibiotics. Infact my youngest is actually on a 20day antibiotic, I hope this works. Also what I have seen is that a lot of children have been sick lately hopefully everyone starts to get better real soon

Ale has had 2 colds so far - and each lasted a day and a half.
Put Vicks on DC's chest and soles of the feet.
Vaporizer in bedroom.
Saline drops if DC's nose is stuffed up, but not if it is runny.
I put her in her bumbo seat in the bathroom while I shower - the vapor loosens everything up in their chest.
Prop DC up in the crib - you breathe more easily sitting up than flat on your back. I put DD in her boppy in her crib.
The first night she was up 3 times. The next day hardly cranky at all, and slept the whole night through.

Thanks everyone. I hope this one is quicker than the last ones. They seem to go on for a week or more!!!!! What about the napping? Anyne else's dc refuse to nap while hving a cold but sleep okay at night?

Have you tried rocking him to sleep? When DD is miserable, I really will stay in the rocker and hold her for her whole nap just so she gets some needed rest. I know it's extreme but a sick baby needs rest.
I hope tonight is better and that you DS gets some sleep.

I would LOVE to be able to rock my DS to sleep, the problem is that he has NEVER let us.  He won't ever let us just sit and hold him. I really hope tonight goes smooth. One more quick question.... When you DC has a cold does it seem that they spit up/throw up more than normally? TIA!!!
