Editted Question, come back! BTDT Moms, does this Zantac dosage sound right?
Hi! My DS was prescribed .75ml of Zantac at about 7 weeks when he was 9 lbs. 3 ounces. He went to the Ped yesterday at 10 weeks and weighed 11 lbs and the dosage was upped to 1.5 mls which is double his old dosage. It seemed like a lot so I just wanted to double check with other moms to see if this sounds ok.

ETA: I just realized that I didn't write that the new dosage is 1.5 ml 2 X day (old was .75 2x day). Does it still sound right? From reading the responses I'm not sure.

yes, that sounds right, my ds was started on 1ml and when that was not working, it was bumped up to 1.5ml
he was 13lbs when his dosage was upped 
he is now on Axid which works MUCH better IMHO

That sounds about right - James is on 1 mL of Zantac 3x day and I don't htink that's cutting it for him. He's a little over 14 pounds.

yeah I think so.
Chloe is 8.6 lbs and on 0.60 ml 3 times a day.
