Educational DVD for 18 month old

Recommend a good educational DVD for an 18 month old. We have the Leapfrog Letter Factory DVD & she loves that one.

Borders has a coupon for 40% off DVD's.

Re: Educational DVD for 18 month old

DS has learned alot from the Baby Einstein series.

If I had to recommend just one at that age I would say the Numbers Nursery. DS LOVES It and the other day I was gathering up some stuff and said "1, 2" and my 18month old said 3 4 5....and he was counting on his fingers! (I take no credit!)

THere are also some first words one like "around the house", " around town, ETC that DS has learned alot of words from and there is another called on the go....all about trucks, cars, etc. The other day he said helicopter and I know I didnt teach him that!

The Pre-school prep ones are pretty good. I've borrowed a few from my library.

Any of the Signing Times DVD's. Doesn't just teach sign language but definitely improves their vocabulary as well.

My DC's could recognize all of their letters by 18 months old.

Re: Educational DVD for 18 month old

I purchased the complete "your baby can read" program for $200 it included the flashcards and books etc..
But honestly the dvds are great.. It got them up around 18 months doing the head shoulder knees and toes song and dance,... If your happy and you know it.. It taught them all of the body parts on their body.. The dvds are well worth the $ and are pretty cheap if you but them sept,
