eeeeek... a mouse!
So DH came across a little mouse in our bathroom last night! I'm freaked out. We just moved in about a month and a half ago, and we had the place inspected by an exterminator (no evidence of mice, but the guy said there are other houses on the street with them). So my question is, if there's one, there's more, right? I checked all the kitchen cabinets - nothing. But I'm afraid they're in my basement (we've got a ton of unpacked boxes down there - of course no food).
We did just get a shipment of a piece of furniture and we unpacked it about an hour before we found the intruder. I guess its remotely possible he was a stow away in the box.

Re: eeeeek... a mouse!
UGH! i hate mice!! we have them in our house... we havent' seen much evidence of them for a long time- up until friday! i got home after work and went to wash the cover of the dog bed... when i picked up the dog bed, the mouse came running out from under it! DH wasn't home yet, so i just shut the bedroom door( theres no way it could get out of there) LOL and then when DH came home, he caught it... but i HATE THEM!!! the best way to combat them i think is to just REALLY check your house for any holes where they might be able to squeeze in and try and block them up. i also think that obviously if you keep the house clean, put food in plastic containers, fold up your moving boxes so they have no where to hide and no food to eat it helps.
