I recently started giving them to DS at 10 months old--was i not supposed to?

I gave them before 1 year too.
The whites could be more allergic then the yolks.
My dd has no reaction, she HATES scrambled eggs, yokes or whites, but she ate them in manicotti, ravioli's, pancakes, breads. etc

My ped. said not until 1 year, but I think I gave DD whole eggs at 11 months. Also you'll notice that some of the Gerber dinners have egg white in them. I don't think it is a problem if there isn't a reaction.

They say wait until a year because of allergies, but I think I gave them a little before a year also.

When Mommy told me that TT gave Chris eggs, I got a little nervous. My ped said that it's the protein in the whites that they may be allergic to.
If he hasn't reacted yet, I'm sure he's fine.....

My ped. recommended 9 mos. for DD#1 and 6 mos. for DD#2 (for the flu shot which I never did give her). Either way, both got it before age 1. If there was no reaction, not to worry!
