egg yolks??
Had do you prepare them for your DC?
I just drained the whites, and added a little water to the yolk, and scrambled them with some cheese...
They taste fine- but they consistency is wierd....(very sticky)
What do you do?

Re: egg yolks??
I do it the same way minus the cheese. It might be the cheese that is making it sticky because mine are pretty dry.
My aunt said she used to put cream cheese in it for more taste. Maybe it wont be as sticky.

Re: egg yolks??
I was going to do this but my ped. actually said she could have the whole egg. He felt that since we have no history of egg allergy in our family it would be OK. I still haven't given it to her yet. I'm too busy trying other things.

i do it the same way - it's sticky but DD loves them. You can also hard boil them.

Re: egg yolks??
My pediatrician also recommended that we hold off on the eggs until a year. I did give it to her once and she didn't like it at all. She gagged every time I put it near her mouth.
I will probably try again and hard boil them next time. My mom said she did it with us and we loved it -- and even though the pediatrician said to wait until a year I think I can try it and just wait for signs of allergy.
