Einstein Videos are the best
So my DD is 10 weeks and I decided last week to see if she would be in to the videos. I popped one in and she is mesmorized! I can actually shower and get things done while she sits and watches. What my DH and I are wondering is how and why our babies love these??? It is just random objects thrown in front of a black screen with music playing in the background. I know it is supposed to stimulate the brain with all the bright colors but......... whom ever thought of this is a genious I guess????

It's funny that you posted this, we tried Baby Mozart yesterday for the first time with DS who is 7 weeks and he was captivated immediately! He fusses when they do the still pictures of the fruit and animals but stops as soon as the movement happens again. You gotta love the repeat play option too, he fell asleep on the third cycle!

My DS #1 loved them and started watching them at 8 or 9 weeks old. he's almost 4 and would probably watch one if I put it on right now.

Costco has the 10 pack of "Baby Crack" for $97 I believe.
I only have the Baby McDonald one which is for 9mos+, but I decided to pop it in anyway and DD seemed mesmerized by it in the beginning, but it was obvisouly too advanced for her (she was only 7 wks at the time.) I told DH that WE MUST buy the other DVDs!!!

I've recently discovered that Little Einsteins is toddler crack! He barely moves sitting there watching that show.

Oh yeah Katie loves her baby crack! LOL
ETA; McDonalds farm is her favorite. Sometimes I sing it to her (when the TV is off) and she gets SO excited and laughs and laughs.

My son loves them both - Baby einstein videos and now Little Einsteins - I caught him pat pat patting in his sleep the other day!!

My 7 month old has loved the Little Einsteins from a few eeks old. Whenever she hears that song, she stops whatever she's doign and looks at the TV.
