ELA goals

I am a foreign language teacher in an elementary school. I have to come up with ELA related goals that I can incorporate into my foreign language lessons. Any ideas?

Maybe go onto nysed and get a copy of ELA standards to keep handy when you do your lessons so you can incorporate them?

I need to come up with three goals for the school year. One needs to be ELA related that I can tweak to incorporate into a foreign language classroom....
