Last year I had a phone consultation with Bigler Law Firm in Wantagh (on Wantagh Ave near WHS). They were not able to help us since we needed someone who was well versed in both FL & NY elder law, and instead of throwing me off the phone they went out of their way to help me find someone who was able to help us.

I have several who I know & like but you won't go wrong with the recommendation above. The firm has been around foever and has a great reputation. I do not know those attorneys personally but I have friends who do. Just don't be shocked if you get a high quote for what you need. The going rate for these services is rather high but the work requires them to keep up with so many rules & to take a lot of unpaid time to do that, so the clients have to pay for the expertise. I just feel like I have to say that because so many people are surprised to hear prices for either elder law or divorce. Just let me know if you want the names of the ones I recommend. An LIFer was very happy with one of them recently.
