Email DH got back from Craigslist Choc Lab Puppy kid
Sent last night:
Im showing the dog to someone at 8am and 9am locally. I have to find him a home before tomorrow night or he is coming back to NC with me, which I would rather not do to him.
If you would like I can show him to you if those two sales do not work tomorrow morning at your house. It would have to be quick though. Sorry.
I could come to show him to you at your home at 10am

DH responded and the kid replied back that one of the people from this morning were coming back at 4PM - a nice family ... so who knows what he deal is.
But his email address is a real person who lives in Huntington Station (as the ad stated).

I hope so. Keep us posted. I wish someoone on here would take that dog. He is so cute and needs a good home. Poor little baby, breaks my heart.

UGH! Even though I have ZERO (read NONE) time for a puppy, I'd take him and spend the time finding him a good home if I wasn't cat sitting for my parents for 5 weeks... That just won't work. Poor puppy.
I don't appreciate how he calls it a sale in his email, but an "adoption" in his ad.
ETA - I hope it really is a nice family and that they do take the pup!

Either way to call it a "sale" surely implies he has no emotional attachement to the dog even after his supposed 2 mths with the dog. AS if we couldn't figure that out by deciding last minute you need to find a home for the dog (as if that was true).
Just calling it as I interpret it.

Let's hope he can come show you guys. How can you give up your supposed dog of 2 mths to someone you just met for $200 bucks? Sorry but I just can't get over this one. Seems very very odd to me, the whole story makes me
