Empire State pass for state parks and beaches
Anyone have one? This is my first year with the pass and I love it. If you don't have one would you pay $8 to get in the park for a LIF gtg?
eta: park would be either Heckscher or Belmont Lake

I get one every year, and it has usually paid for itself before the season even starts. We spend A LOT of our time at the beaches and parks.
Right now I have 3 passes on my car... Empire, Suffolk, and Town of Babylon!!! We are beach/park junkies.

I am not buying the pass, bc i have to go back to work the end of this month, but I do pay the $8 to go to the arboretum on Fridays with LIF girls

We ordered our pass online this year, but you can also do phone orders. Or you can just go to a park and get one there.

$8 . I thought admission went to $10 at all the state parks. I know that's what it is at Hecksher and Sunken Meadow.
