Enfmail A.R./Similac R.S. Question
Our ped switched DS's formula to Enfamil A.R (the one thickened with rice starch).
Do I need to use a Size 2 nipple for the bottle or can I still use a Size 1?

I never had to up the nipple size on Similac RS

Me too - and I found that the powder was miserable - I read online after the fact that it's best to whisk it and mix it with warm water.

I don't remember having to change nipple sizes. It's thicker, but not thick enough to warrant a larger nipple. Good Luck! It worked for us!

We used the Similac R.S. powder and on the bottle it says to let it sit for 5 minutes before feeding. If we didn't let it sit it would clog up any bottle. We did switch to a size up in the nipple i'd say within the first 2 weeks of putting her on that, but she also loved to eat and drink and was collapsing the nipple. I would try it with the nipple you have and if it seems to be a struggle then try the next size up.
