Engineer Apt today....
What can I expect? Do we need to just follow the guy around and he does all the talking?

Try to arrive early to meet up with the engineer b4 he starts the inspection, so you can talk to him without the others around (sellers, REA, etc) and see how he/she will go about doing everything.
Our inspector met with us on the side of the yard and explained he would follow a 10-page checklist of items, and he would make his recommendations to us in private, away from the REA who was there.
And this way, we could also share some of our concerns about the house with him before he started, so he knew what areas to really concentrate on.

Inspection went amazing, nothing major. Little odds and ends of course, but Inspector said "This is a good one"
