English as a second language
Does anyone know of free English classes in the evening close on in Queens? Someone I work with asked me for one of her family members and she is having trouble finding one. I know a lot of community centers do them. I would appreciate the help. Thanks.

Many libraries in Queens offer ESL classes, so I'd call the closest branches. If they don't offer any, they should have a referral sheet of places that do.

I know libraries do it for free in Nassau.

Queen's Library has a really good program and it's free. They have Adult learning Centers in six or seven branches but also do ESL classes in many other branches.
