EP moms! What OTC meds can we take??

I have the worst head cold right now! Stuffy, runny nose, sore throat etc. What can I take for it that wont interfere with my pumping for them? Is it the same rules from pregnancy?

And also, can they get sick from drinking my milk while Im sick? In other words, is my milk "contaminated"?

Nope! Your milk contains antibodies so it actually may help them NOT get whatever you have.

Sorry, don't know about the medicine. The only thing I feel safe taking is motrin and I haven't since I first got hom from the hospital.
