ergo baby carriers? or any recs would be appreciated
We're going away in December...we're bringing our city mini with us, but I would like to also bring a baby carrier with us for the bus/cab ride from the airport to the hotel and vice versa, since we're not bringing the car seat since there is no need for it...DD will be just shy of 1 and is right now at 10 months 24lbs and 30.5 inches....so the Bjorn is out...saw the ergo carrier, but it's $105 and considering I doubt i'll be using it that much didn't want to spend that much...so anyone had experience with this to justify the price tag, or any recommendations of something that carries heavier babies and toddlers that is easy to use!?!?
Thanks!!!

You can probably get one on CL-I have seen them for $25. Some hot water and color safe bleach and you'll be good to go. The Moby will work for that as well. But also expensive. I would look into used or even check out baby consignment shops. i have seen those around me.

I love my Ergo. You can carry DD on your back, which is so much more comfortable than the front carriers. It is not hard on the back at all. Whenever I used my bjorn, my back would hurt almost instantly, but not with the ergo. I got mine on Craigslist for $50.

I have the Beco, which is also expensive, but it provides so much more support than the Bjorn. You can wear DC in the front or back and it can be used for newborns, infants and toddlers.
