ERRRR...Lowes
Me and DH purchased a screen door on August 20th from Lowes with installation and was charged the full amount on our credit card. Well we still don't have it. I have called the store 5 times complaining about it and i get either attitude or blaming the installer (who apprently is an outside contractor).
SO i finally call corporate yesterday and they tell me someone from senior management of the store will call me within 24 hours. No phone call so i just call back and get the same lady and she goes "they are waiting to hear from the installer". Well i went beserk saying I am sick and tired of hearing everyone blame the installer. Lowes took my money and they should be contacting me at the very least if they are having issues with this person.
So now she says someone will call me by Monday. I am so done with this store. Whatever happened to customer service?
Anyone else have issues with this place? I thought they prided themselves on good customer service.

wow! i'm so sorry you are having a bad experience with them! we bought our storm door back on july 2 and they installed it a few weeks later like they said they would. we didn't have one problem. i would continue to call them if i were you. and always ask to speak with a dept manager. good luck. i hope they come through for you soon!!

I had all my interior bedroom doors and closet doors replaced.
Lowes are completely and utterly incompetent. I am not even going to list all the issues we had.
We bitched up a storm to corporate... They ended up giving us more than half our money back and we were able to keep all the merchandise.

i think every store, be it a national name like lowes, home depot, etc, or mom & pop type of store, is only as good, (or as bad) as the management team at that particular location. corporate offices should really focus on training, or RE-TRAINING their managers to provide for better customer service.

Wow! We had the same problem with HD, cancelled the order, got our money back, went to Lowes and the doors were installed in less than 3 weeks. They were just done on Thursday, I was really happy with them.

oh great. we just ordered a storm door from Lowe's yesterday. they told us to expect at least a few weeks since they are backed up right now. apparently they just had a $59 installation offer (which of course we missed) so they got flooded with orders.

I would suggest sending them an email rather than calling people. I've noticed that companies tend to respond more to written communication. If you need help on wording, write up the basics & FM me - I can help with the edits.

Also try planetfeedback.com. You fill oyt a form and it e mails someone who is in the corporate chain. I have gotten some resolution on there.

Well we ordered ours from the Garden City store so be careful and watch out if you ordered from there.
I have spoken to managers at the store and they seem more inept then the original people i was talking to.
I did get two phone calls from the store right after i spoke to that woman. They were just advising me that they are watching the situation. I am suppose to call back tonight the manager i spoke to yesterday to find out what the deal is. I better have a date by today.
So frustrating! I think i might do that planetfeedback if i get no where today. I am at the point i want to cancel the order but when you wait this long its seems ridiculous to do so.
