*******ESSENTIAL OIL FIRST AID KIT (these can be used at home or on the road)*********
*Allergies-combine lavender and Roman chamomile 50:50 and apply 2-3 drops of blend on wrists on side of throat.
*Bruises-Use 1-25 drops of geranium, helichrysum, or lavender.
-gently rub into tissue, across the bruise in one direction, then in the other.
*Cuts, Scrapes & Abrasions
-Use helichrysum or dorado azul to stop bleeding.
-Cleanse the would with 1-30 ratio miz of thieves household cleaner and water.
*Earache- dilute 50-50 lemon, Exodus II or Raven, rub gently around the outside of ear and over lymph nodes on the side of neck.
-Put a few drops of Melaeuca, chamomile, Purification or Melrose on cotton ball; gently place in ear, and replace with fresh ball 2-3 times a day.
*Common cold and flu
-diffuse, diffuse, diffuse!
-use thieves, R.C., purification, raven
-lemon with cedarwood, myrtle or copaiba
-apply thieves on the feet

*Headache
-use favorite roll-on oil (including breath again, valor, tranquil and others) along the base of skull.
-peppermint is a classic headache solution
-use clarity, m-grain, pan way, rosemary, or eucalyptos for migraine headaches
*Insect bites and stings
-repel bugs with the following: peppermint, cedarwood, lemongrass, rosemary, geranium, pine, Idaho tansy, and others
-for bees, wasps, and hornet stings, use purification, thieves and pan way
-for ticks, use purification or lemongrass
-for flies, use rosemary or peppermint
-for mosquitos, use lavenders, lemongrass or peppermint
*Stomach ache/nausea
-for nausea, use patchouli, peppermint, ginger or Di-Gize
-for stomachache, use peppermint, fennel, Di-Gize or thyme
-apply drops to abdominal area and around navel, dilute with carrier oil as needed, and do light abdominal massage.
*Sore Throat
-gargle with thieves mouthwash 4-8 times daily
*Sprains and strains
-pan way works great for muscles strains and sprains
-layer peppermint, believe and geranium every 10 minutes or so for the first few hours, then 3-5 times a day
*Toothache
-use clove, roman chamomile, wintergreen, Melrose, or pan way
-use thieves mouthwash on a cotton ball between cheek and gum
