Establishing feeding schedule for 4 week old?
Is it possible to establish feeding schedule at 4 weeks old? When did you start your routine and was able to follow it through? Please share your experiences. Any moms feed cereal at this age to sleep through the night?
Thanks!!!

Re: Establishing feeding schedule for 4 week old?
Our pediatrician said that at 4 weeks old, you cant start a feeding scheduling because they are too young. He said that the first few months is "feeding on demand". We started putting rice flakes in Jacob's bottle at about 6 weeks...you should ckeck with your doctor before starting that.

Mine is pretty much on a schedule, she eats every 3.5 to 4 hours.
I am against cereal in the bottle. Too much potential for choking, allergies, diabetes, etc. They will eventually sleep through the night on their own.

Re: Establishing feeding schedule for 4 week old?
Most babies up until about 4-5 months old should be eating between 2-3 hours if bfing and 3-4 hours if ff. It depends on the baby but at 4 weeks, you should be feeding on demand.
