Etiquette question re: wedding invites and save the dates
Ok, a friend of mine is getting married. Another friend of ours already told her that she cannot make the wedding. Now she knows she definitely needs to send her an invitation, even though she cant make it to the wedding. But should she send a STD as well? She's not sure how to handle so thought I'd ask what everyones thoughts are.

I agree. Save the dates are not really required at all so I'd pass and just send the invite when the time comes.
