European Wax Center

I noticed one on merrick road in merrick, has anyone ever done a brazilian there? Do they know what they are doing????? Does it hurt like hell (some people make it less painful)?

The place i go to now is GREAT, but its in the city and i want to have a place i can go to on long island.

They're pretty good. I've gone twice - the first girl was a little slow but it still wasn't unbearable. It's clean and cheap, which is great.

My favorite place on LI is Sonia's in Rosyln though.

I went to do my eyebrows there...it was clean and not painful and I liked the wax they used. BUT the wax itself didn't last as long I feel like they didn't really lift the hair if that makes sense

I just went there to try and see how my upper legs would come out

It didnt really hurt like Sonias

Sonias sucks cause they wax the same area 4-5 times, cause they refuse to pull the strip in the opposite direction of the hair growth
So pretty much they keep waxing and nothing comes out

Also Sonias is the place where they waxed a 13 year old for a brazilian

i had a brazillian there. cons... you have to get butt naked in front of the girl. i was waiting for her to hand me a towel or robe and leave the room...and she was like okay take off your pants and lay down...i said oh nothing to cover me up...and she said well i am going ot see it all anyways and we are kinda a speed waxing place... hmmm so i laid there bare arsed and i felt very vulnerable.

the wax itself was fine. not any less painful than other methods but it did the job and the price was right.

i would go again and wear a loooong shirt so i didnt feel reallllly exposed while waiting inbetween the multiple applications.

and they do hard sell their products alot but it didnt bother me too much

This is a very stupid question, but I'm a Brazilain virgin , how long does the hair have to be?

about a quarter of an inch long.... and it lasted me about a month...but hair grows in dif cycles so it takes a few times for it to last longer.
if your hair is tooo long like mine was lolol they trim it first so it doesnt tug too much!

Don't go when it's too short! It won't grab it. It's a wax only, no muslin strip. And it won't work on fine hair like mine. takes multiple tries for me and still lots of missed spot.

I just can't use that method.
