Evening Naps at 9 months?
Yesterday I picked up DD from day care at 4 and by 5:30 she was so tired, she was crying and wouldn't eat her dinner(VERY unlike my DD). I fed her quick, gave her a bath and had her hold out for bedtime until 6:30pm but then she is up at 5am!
So my sitter recommended I give her a nap at around 5-5:30 and wake her after a half hour and then put her to bed at 8. Would this work? She is such a schedule baby I would hate to try it and have her miserable.

I would put Andrew down around 4:30-5. Let him sleep. He would usually just sleep for an hour. Then feed him dinner play with him and then put him back down for bed. It was torture trying to keep him up after work for all of us

Re: Evening Naps at 9 months?
We have the same problem.
DD runs her day very early. For example, it's noon and she just woke up from her second nap of the day which means she'll be done for the day around 5-6p and will start babbling at 4:30 am until 6 am when I get her
I'm trying to get them on a 7-7 schedule or 7-8 but it's not working well.

I actually asked daycare to put her down 4 - 5pm. She does much better with that late afternoon nap. I would let her fall asleep in the car, but it's only a 10 minute ride and she won't go down that fast.
I think its fine. Always worked for DD
