Oh, they are there. And they shine so brightly, too! And stick out tremendously. But I'm holding off on coloring. Not ready for that commitment.

I color my hair all the time, but I have yet to see a grey hair and I am 32.. BUT then again... my grandmother is 89 and still has a good amount of dark hair on her head.. and my mother is 59 and has hardly any grey hair too..

Similar for me, I'm 37 & have none but I think it's genetics because my mom is 63 and has about 4 grey hairs!

i have had grey hair since my early 20s, but finally bit the bullet when i turned 26 to start coloring my hair... it is a pain the arse, especially inbetween colorings b/c i have dark hair and the grey screams "LOOK AT ME!"

I turned 40 and I have just a few but not many. I had started to pull them out but I stopped. They are really not that visible. I don't need to dye my hair just yet.

I'm 29. I found 1 the other day and then found another one the next day right next to it. I was freaking out and I have such jet black hair!
My sister just turned 27 this month and she has bunch. I hope I don't get more, makes me feel so old and I hate the thought of coloring my hair. . I love my hair

Me too! I have found a couple, I cut them.
I think it is more noticable on us bc out hair is so dark 
I don't even know WHAT color I would color my hair I tried blonde highlights as a teenager and looked like a skunk
What can you color BLACK? ugh

I started seeing some in my mid-20's too.
DO NOT PULL THEM OUT! Trust me. It's hard to resist. But remember that the gray hairs are much thicker and more wiry than the rest of your hair. So if you pull one out, when it grows back and is an inch long or so, it will stick straight up off the top of your head, like an antenna (ok, maybe not that dramatic, but it does look silly)! And you have to wait months until it is long enough to lay flat with the rest of your hair. It stinks. Leave them alone and color them if you want, but do not pluck it out. I speak from experience!
