Ever hear of Group Interviews for a job?
I was told there would be 10-12 people being interviewed at the same time, with fun and games. Any idea what this would be like and how to set the best example?
Is there an opportunity to ask questions at something like this?
How do you show you are right for the job and are really dependable and interested?

Idid that when I interviewed for Foxton's. They even had wine!
It was OK, and then you had a 5 minute private interview...

We've done that in the past where I work. I feel bad for the person being interviewed, its kind of overwhelming for them. But you get to see the group dynamic a bit.
I met with about 7 people when I was interviewed for my job, but it was individually.

H&M does this. They want to see how you work with a group both as a team member and your ability/propensity to take on leadership roles.

Volunteer for things and try to make yourself heard without being too overbearing.

They did this for Score, and also for Macy's. Ar Score it was group and then individual if you passed the group, at MAcy;s we did a full day with group activities and then you split off for individual interviews. It's pretty intense

I was "group interviewed" here (should have taken that as a bad sign  ) and we continue to group interview...I hate it. I like to do my own interviewing and vice versa.

My airline did this, before they did one on one interviews.
It was interesting, we watched videos of sitations and commented. They did a lot of scenario opinion based based stuff.

I worked for Foxtons for 5 yrs. Did you ever work there?
Anyway OI feel that this may be a mill type job if they are interviewing all these people at onceWhy do they have so many positions available. I know with Foxtons they were losing people day after day because of operational and compensation issues-though I'm sure they said it was because of growth

My airline did too - I work in IT/finance now - and again, I had a group interview for a promotion. That was pretty intense.
Mostly, I don't mind group interviews, just because a lot of the same questions are asked, and you can kind of get a feeling from the way other people answer.
